The Plan is where you can see post ideas and drafts, completed, and scheduled posts for the current and following weeks.

By design, Alkai plans only two weeks at a time (the current week and the following week).
At the end of the current week, Alkai will extend your plan an additional week so you always have post ideas for the current and following week.

Getting Started

It's easy to add Alkai as an app to your phone's home screen so you can quickly access it whenever you need to. Just follow these simple steps!

On mobile

Open https://app.alkai.ai/chat in the browser on your phone.
Find the share icon. In Safari, it’s in the center of the bottom buttons. In Chrome, it's in the top right corner.
Click on that icon and scroll down the share menu. You'll find an "Add to Home Screen" option, as highlighted in the screenshot to the left.
This will add an Alkai icon to your home screen that you can use to open Alkai.

Whenever you get a notification from Alkai, open the app. The message will be in the chat with a preview of your new post!

On Your Computer

On your computer, open Chrome.
Go to https://app.alkai.ai/chat
At the top right corner of Chrome, select More (Three vertical dots) > Save and share > Install page as an app.
On some websites, select Install at the top right of the address bar.
To install the web app, follow the on-screen instructions.

Whenever you get a notification from Alkai, open the app. The message will be in the chat with a preview of your new post!

Cancelling a subscription with Alkai

How to Cancel Your Subscription on Alkai

We’re sorry to hear that you’re considering canceling your subscription. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, feel free to contact us at alkai-feedback@alkai.ai.

How to cancel your subscription will depend on what platform you subscribed through. If you subscribed within the iOS app, please scroll down to Apple Billing section. If you signed up on the Web or Mobile Web with our provider Stripe please follow the instructions below for Stripe Billing.

Steps to Cancel Your Subscription - Stripe Billing:

Log in to your Alkai account.
Go to the " Settings " tab at the bottom of the screen or click here:

Select "Manage Subscription".

This will redirect you to our payment processor, Stripe, where you can complete the cancellation process. You do not need a separate login for Stripe.

Social Account: Unable to Connect to Instagram

In order to connect to Instagram, your Instagram account must be a **Business Account **and be linked to a Facebook Business Page.

Confirm you have an Instagram Business Account

Instagram supports 3 types of accounts: Personal, Business, and Creator. Alkai can only connect to Instagram Business Accounts.

To verify or switch your account type in Instagram please follow Instgram's help article.

On Desktop Computer

To set up a business account:

Tap the Profile Icon (profile picture) in the side menu to go to your profile.
Tap Edit profile.
Tap Switch to professional account.
Tap Next.
Select a category for your business and tap Switch to professional account.
Select Business and tap Next.

Continue following the remaining steps to setup the details about your business account.

On Mobile App

To set up a business account:

Tap the Profile Icon (profile picture) in the bottom right to go to your profile.
Tap Edit profile.
Tap Switch to professional account.
Tap Next.
Select a category for your business and tap Switch to professional account.

Where to find your Brand Kit

You'll find your Brand Kit as the first option in Settings.
You can also end your Brand kit while editing a post by clicking on the Brand icon and choosing Edit Brand Kit.

Your Brand Kit

From the Settings menu, click Brand kit to customize your brand with Alkai.

Default Settings

Tell Alkai how to use your brand settings with post content.

Apply brand to post content: Toggle this ON if you want to use branded fonts and colors for all your posts.
Add Brand Card to end of post: Toggle this ON if you want a short, animated brand card to be included at the end of vertical video (reels) posts.
