Connecting your accounts is simple, and once it's done, you'll have seamless access to automated posting and tailored content creation for your business. Here’s how to get set up!

What Accounts Can You Connect?
Alkai currently supports:
Facebook Business Pages
Instagram Business Accounts (linked to a Facebook Business Page)
TikTok Accounts
Other platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and more are on the way!
Note: You can only connect business accounts at this time. Personal Facebook or Instagram profiles are not supported for direct posting. You can continue to publish Alkai post to your other networks manually, when you download a post, Alkai will automatically copy the caption to your clipboard to make this manual upload quick and easy.
Preparing Your Accounts for Connection
Before you connect Facebook to Alkai, make sure:
You have a Facebook Business Page – If you don’t have one yet, you can create a Facebook Business Page by going to Facebook’s Create a Page section.
Instagram is a Business Account – If your Instagram account is still personal, you can switch it to a business profile.
In the Instagram App, tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
Tap Edit profile
Tap Switch to professional account
Tap Continue
Select a Category for your business and tap Done
Continue with additional business setup
Instagram is Linked to Facebook – Instagram Business accounts must be linked to your Facebook Business Page. Go to Instagram’s settings under "Account" and make sure it’s linked to your Facebook Business Page. Detailed instructions can be found here and here.
TikTok
1. Your TikTok account is ready to connect to Alkai. When posting to TikTok, you'll have control over privacy and disclosure settings that you can review here.
Connecting Your Social Accounts to Alkai
Once you've confirmed your accounts are prepared correctly, you can connect them to Alkai in a few easy steps:
Log in to Alkai
Open Alkai in your web browser and login if necessary.
Go to Settings
You’ll find the Settings menu at the bottom of screen.
Select Social Network Accounts
In the settings menu, find and click on Connect under the header Social media accounts. This is where you’ll manage your social media connections.
Click “Connect” Next to the social network (Facebook*, Instagram*, TikTok)
*When connecting to Facebook or Instagram, use your personal Facebook account with admin privileges to your business's Facebook Business Page.
Authorize Alkai by Ripl: A Facebook pop-up will appear asking for permission to link your accounts to Alkai. Make sure you select the correct Facebook Business Page and allow access.
Alkai’s parent company is Ripl, so the connection to Facebook & Instagram will require authorization with Ripl.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you’re having trouble connecting your accounts, here are a few things to check:
Pop-Up Blockers: Ensure that your browser allows pop-ups.
Using the Native browser in mobile apps like Facebook or Instagram: If you’re using Alkai through the web browser on the Facebook or Instagram mobile app,, you’ll need to select "Open in external browser" to connect your accounts.
Linked Accounts (Instagram): If Instagram isn’t showing up during the connection process, double-check that it’s correctly linked to your Facebook Business Page under Instagram settings.
Pop-Ups on Desktop: Pop-ups might appear behind your current window, so check for hidden tabs or windows after you click “Connect.”
Wrong Account (Instagram and Facebook): If you're logged into the a Facebook personal account that is not an Admin of the Facebook Business Page, logout of Facebook before connecting Alkai and log back in with the correct account.
Managing Your Connected Accounts
Once your accounts are connected, you’ll be able to:
Auto-post directly from Alkai to your connected accounts.
Schedule Post in advance and get ahead of your week.
Easily disconnect or reconnect accounts by returning to the Social Network Accounts section in your settings.
