Working With Your Plan Brief
Overview
The Plan Brief is your opportunity to tell Alkai what's important to you for the planned posts Alkai creates. The Plan brief has two sections.
General Planning Instructions
The general Plan Brief is meant for universal instructions that inform Alkai on themes, dos and don'ts, or topics that are important you every week.
Here are some examples of good instruction:
DON'T:
- Give Alkai specific instruction for how to make a post. Alkai has it's own post making process and can't follow instructions like "Make all videos 30 seconds" or "Make a video with a scene of the leaning tower of Pisa and a sheep grazing in front of it".
- Insert instructions from another AI tool. Alkai has it's own planning and strategy process. Instead talk to Alkai about what ideas it has or what you would like to see.
Weekly Plan Brief
Your weekly Plan Brief is an optional opportunity for you to inform Alkai what is happening next week: what topics, products & offerings, promotions & events, or other business happenings do you want Alkai to include in your planned post.
The Weekly Plan Brief is reset each Sunday after your next week is planned.
Here are some examples of good instruction:
DON'T:
- Paste a weekly posting plan from another AI tool including descriptions of posts and captions for each day of the week. Alkai has it's own planning process following social media best practices and the information you've provided about your business. Instead - tell Alkai what to highlight and let it come up with a plan for you.
Proactive Notification
Alkai generates posting plans early Sunday morning for the next week. Alkai notifies you every Thursday to Review your Plan Brief and add any details to your weekly Plan Brief. Alkai uses your Plan Brief to generate posts that match your goals and business happenings.
