Using the Media Library

What is your Media Library?

The Alkai Media Library is your central repository of images of videos to use in all your social content. There are no file or size limits and you have many options to source media that Alkai will use when drafting your posts. Alkai doesn't just save & store your media, Alkai also reviews it and takes notes to find the right media for each post you have drafted. The more you add, the more relevant and smart Alkai can be with finding the right media for each post.

If you provided Alkai your business's website, you'll notice that Alkai already stored images found throughout your site.

Add media to library

After you click the Media menu, you'll navigate to Add media to your library. Here, you'll have options to add or discover media and Manage your library.

Manage media in your library

All the media you've added to your library is here, order with the most recently added at the top. If there's an image or video you don't want Alkai to use anymore, just click the trash can icon in the bottom corner of the media's thumb nail. This will remove the image from your library permanently.

Adding more media

The Media library has many ways to add, discover, or create media for your library.
Upload Media: Add media on your device by clicking Upload Media. All uploaded media is automatically added to your Media Library.
Add from another source: Click this button if you want to search and add stock media, use a text prompt to generate AI images, or have Alkai scrape media from the Web.

Click upload media to open your devices file folder. select images or videos and add them to your library.
On mobile devices, clicking upload will open your phone's Images app

Add From Another Source

When you click Add from another source, you can explore stock media, create images using AI, or scrap media from a webpage.


Free Stock images and videos
Access a vast library of free stock images and videos via Pexels.|| When searching, enter keywords and choose between photo or video media.


Generate with AI
Create custom images with a text prompt and a specific image style. || Everything AI image you generate is automatically added to your Media Library.


From web
Type or paste a URL from your website or other webpage, and Alkai will scrap all the media on that page.
All media that Alkai sources from webpages are automatically added to your media library.
