Post Styles

We’re excited to introduce Post Styles, a powerful new feature in Alkai that helps you diversify your brand’s content with ease while staying true to your marketing goals. These new styles are automatically added to your content plan and tailored to what’s available on your website.

Post Styles are pre-formatted creative themes designed to help your social media stand out. These are visually distinctive and strategically structured post types, now integrated directly into your Alkai weekly content plan. With this update, you’ll get a more diverse range of social content without lifting a finger.

With the recent update, we have added 4 new Post Styles:

1. Meme

• Who gets it: All users
• When it appears: Bonus post on Tuesdays
• Why it matters: Adds humor and personality to your feed, which can boost engagement and relatability.

2. Carousel Hook

• Who gets it: All users
• When it appears: Included as one of your weekly posts
• Why it matters: This attention-grabbing, multi-frame post style is great for storytelling or teasing a series, which makes it ideal for boosting swipes and longer view times. Perfect for Instagram.

3. Product Cut-Out

• Who gets it: Users with products listed on their website
• When it appears: Included as one of your weekly posts
• Why it matters: Clean, focused visuals of individual products help drive product awareness and sales. Especially effective for e-commerce brands.

4. Customer Review

• Who gets it: Users with customer reviews available on their website
• When it appears: Included as one of your weekly posts
• Why it matters: Builds trust and credibility with your audience by spotlighting real feedback from happy customers.

• Automated content: Styles are selected and scheduled based on your website content, so no manual input needed.

How to Use and Manage Post Styles

You don’t need to manually add Post Styles, instead they’re automatically incorporated into your weekly plan based on your brand’s website content and preferences. However, if you prefer not to use certain styles, you can easily turn them off as seen below.

How to Turn Off a Post Style

1. Go to Plan (in the bottom left corner of the Alkai screen), then Settings.
2. Scroll to the Post Styles section.
3. Toggle off any style you don’t want included in your plan.
4. Changes will take effect in your next scheduled content update.
