Add Music To Your Post

Music is only available for video posts. With Alkai, you have access to thousands of free-to-use tracks to enhance your video posts.

Click the Music icon to access the Add Music Menu.
To preview and discover royalty free tracks, choose one of the genres or purposes.

Click the play icon next to a track to preview it, once you find a track to add to your post, select the option Apply to add it to your post.

After you add the track, you can optionally choose where you want the track to start. Click Apply to save your changes and dismiss the tray.

The rectangular box represents the length of your video post. On a mobile device, press and hold the box and slide left and right to modify the start time of the track. On a desktop computer, use your mouse to click and hold the box and slide your mouse left and right to modify the start time of the track.

Change Music In Your Post

Click the Music icon to load the Track tray.
Click the pencil icon next to the track name to access the Add Music Menu
From the Add music menu, you can explore tracks and Apply to change the track.

Favoriting Music Tracks

In the Add music menu, you can Favorite tracks to easily find them for future posts.
In the track list, click the heart icon next to the track title to make it a Favorite.

Once a track is a favorite, you will easily find it in your My Favorites folder in the Add music menu.

Upload Music From Your Device

You can upload music from your device.
Alkai supports the following file types: ".mp3", ".m4a", ".ogg", ".wav", ".aac"

Click the Music icon to load the Add music menu. Select the Option to Upload music from device. || On mobile devices, selecting this option will load your File Folder (not a music streaming application). The supported music file needs to be in your File Folder in order for you to upload your track.


Once you've uploaded your device, it will appear in your Uploaded music folder. Just like other tracks, you are able to favorite it to add to your My favorites folder. Click Apply to add the track to your post.
